As 2019 wraps up, we’re ending the year celebrating our top all-inclusive destinations! From the shores of Jamaica to the poolside views of Cabo, these vacay spots are some of the best places to get away with friends, family or even by yourself.
Riviera Maya, Mexico
With 93 miles of unspoiled white sand beaches, it’s no wonder Riviera Maya is our top destination for an all-inclusive vacay. From the Mayan ruins to the cenotes, and even ziplines, there’s nothing short of adventure here. If you’re a water bug, you can get your snorkel on at the second largest barrier reef in the world, or just enjoy a casual swim on a resort’s beachfront. With all-inclusive resorts dotting the coastline from Playa del Carmen to Akumal to Tulum, there’s always a resort to escape to for every type of getaway.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Spacious white sand beaches teeming with palm trees and coconut drinks sound like paradise– oh wait, it’s just Punta Cana! This popular destination is one of the go-to spots to relax. But not to fret, there are still plenty of exciting experiences here. Whether you sail to Saona Island for a quick escape or decide to swim with sharks and stingrays, Punta Cana has it all for adventurers as well. To top off this beach haven, the lush greenery on the island sets the scene of a tropical forest without having to travel halfway around the world.
Jamaica’s laid-back culture, delicious food and dreamy beachfronts make this island a travelers’ paradise. Montego Bay has all the world-famous beaches, combined with a festive atmosphere where you can be dancing the day away at the iconic Margaritaville or spend the day sailing on a catamaran. From Floyd’s Pelican Bar in the middle of the ocean to cliff jumping at Rick’s Café, Negril has the perfect amount of adventure and R&R for a tropical escape. Ocho Rios, while smaller than the others, offers up excitement like Dunn’s River Falls and the Island Village, making it the best spot to get away.
Noted as one of the most widely-known all-inclusive destinations, Cancun is consistently dubbed the place to visit because it provides all the Caribbean beauty without the hassle it takes to get there. Other than the breathtaking views and easy transport, Cancun also has a happening nightlife. Many all-inclusive resorts are located in Cancun’s infamous Hotel Zone, where the entertainment, bars and action are always alive. Here, you can go out and enjoy the hustle and bustle or lounge on the beach–there’s something for everyone.
Los Cabos, Mexico
While Los Cabos technically isn’t in the Caribbean, there’s a reason it is continually a popular beach destination among travelers. This place is a where desert landscape and beachy vibes meet to form a unique space unlike any other. The blue waters of the Sea of Cortez are ideal for sailing to El Arco any time of day, but especially at sunset. Most places in Mexico don’t offer amazing sunsets due to the beach being situated on the east side of the country, but Cabo’s western location gives you prime sunsets over the blue sea. Don’t even get us started on the food and nightlife. We’ll leave it up to you to add Cabo to the top of your bucket list.
Nicknamed ‘One Happy Island,’ Aruba makes everyone’s Caribbean dreams come true. This slice of heaven has a consistent temperature year-round of about 82 degrees Fahrenheit, and it’s located outside of the hurricane zone, making it ideal to visit any time of year. The friendly locals and unique culture also set this island up to be perfect to vacay with the fam. Whether you head over to Flamingo Beach to make some new friends or plop down on famous Eagle Beach for a day of relaxation, you’ll never run out of exciting things to do on this fun island.
The start of a new decade might mean new beginnings, but one thing’s for sure, beach vacays will always be a thing. See why all-inclusive is the way to go this next year as you plan your next getaway to Punta Cana or Riviera Maya.
