Great for the family!
Sandos Caracol is an awesome family resort! We had 4 adults and 2 kids (21 months and 5.5years). The grounds were very entertaining for the kiddos. As members (black band), there was access to all the restaurants each day. We didn't love the buffet, but it wasn't terrible either. EVERY other meal was beyond satisfying and freshly prepared! Isidro and Gray at Los Lirios made each breakfast a great experience. The bars are stocked with yummy drinks and the pools are clean. The room was clean, spacious and cool. If it were just adults, we would likely opt for a Sandos resort more like Finisterra in Cabo but with the kids, this was PERFECT! We truly enjoyed our weeklong stay and will absolutely return if traveling with kids again!

10 days in sandos
Lots to do in resort beds are very comfy in the room.found the shop and stalls to be very expensive,a bottle of suncream was about £30. Evening entertainment was good plenty on for all ages. Food in restaurant was the best especially if you was a picky eater

Book through Sandos!
I booked a trip through the official website with Virginia and she was just spectacular. She tailored to our requests regarding rooms even though there was little availability, was quick to respond and resolve any doubts and was courteous and friendly. 100% would recommend booking with the hotel themselves, they also give you 10% off if you have a Mexican passport!

AMAZING STAY
We had an amazing stay! We went woth a 10 year old and 7 year old and had so many activities to keep all of us busy. We loved seeing the different animals throughout the hotel. The facilities were wonderful, delicious food, amazing desserts and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back again! SPECIAL THANKS TO JONATHAN FROM ENTERTAINMENT - he made my daughter's night with the beauty and the beast show front seats as he found out it is her favorite movie ever! All the shows were amazing!

Amazing holiday!
We travelled to Sandos Caracol in May and after reading so many bad reviews, i was really worried about going. I can honestly say that we had an absolutely amazing time. We booked the superior room which was brilliant. Large room with a massive bed plus a bunk bed for the 2 of us. Room was surrounded by trees with monkeys on the balcony every day. We only went in the main buffet restaurant and got bored of the food however there was many other restaurants to chose from but as we were both very picky eaters we felt it would be easier to just eat at the buffet. We can't complain about the food when they had lots to chose from which we chose not to try! The surroundings were just amazing! There were animals everywhere you looked from monkeys, turtles, peacocks, coatis and racoons plus many more. We loved being woken up each morning by the birds and peacocks. There was a cenote which you could snorkel in, bike rides, river boats, and so much more. We walked for miles each day just exploring the resort. If that's not your thing then you can simply relax by one of the many pools or the beach. The beach is nice, plenty of sunbeds all over resort. The beach was rocky and seen a few people getting treated after standing on sea urchins but take water shoes and these help. You can also walk 5 minutes up the beach and its not rocky at all. You can also use the sister hotel but we didn't bother as there was so much on offer at this hotel. The only issue we had was with building work where they are upgrading rooms. It was quite noisy throughout the day from early in the morning. This probably could of been solved if we requested a room change away from the works however we liked our room and the monkeys coming to see us and we were out most of the days so it wasn't worth it but felt tui should have advised of the ongoing works. I really can't understand why so many people complain on here. Having worked as a travel rep in many different countries, I can honestly say that this is one of the most beautiful places i have been to. I wouldn't say it was absolutely perfect and had a few things they could possibly do differently but a holiday is what you make it and we had the best holiday ever.
