May 26, 2023Relaxing vacation with lots of activities available.
The activities were amazing including yoga, bingo, horseshoes, beach volley ball, paddle boarding, dance lessons and we did a sip and paint with Luis and Maima! Or, you can just sit back and chill! While the resort is older, the beach and pools were nice, and the staff was very friendly.

We had a wonderful time but…..
First time in Cancun, chose this resort because of high rating. But honestly I was upset upon arrival at the hotel. Our room was extremely dated and nothing fancy at all and the quick dinner we had at the buffet was horrible. With that being said there were many good things about the resort that outweighed the bad. Pros: service and staff were beyond excellent. They all had wonderful attitudes and bent over backwards to serve, pools had wonderful views, lots of seating and shade, restaurants were excellent and the breakfast buffet was much better than the dinner, beach was well kept, plenty of activities and shows throughout the day/night, wide array of drink choices. Cons: little to no AC anywhere at the resort - our room AC never turned off and it just felt cool, not cold; the bathroom, especially the shower was in need of some serious renovating, the resort would not break bigger bills into 5s and 1s-we had to ask wait staff for change for 20s. Overall we had a great time but will try a different place next time!

5 night stay first time in Cancun, here my honest review. THE GOOD: Affordable, restaurants were excellent except the buffet, it was ok. Incredible staff, greated us with champaign upon checking in.Entertainment was great. Outside views were breathtaking. THE BAD: Outdated rooms, bottom door hinge was broken, bedsheets smelled, curtains were stained, not all electrical outlets worked. Safe had a dead battery, AC leaked onto the floor, technician came and fixed it then leaked again the next day. Found 2 cockroaches in the room and hallways. Tiles were missing from the pool. The entire resort needs some updates.

May 21, 2023I cried when we arrived, the reviews must be fake.
Other reviews really must be fake…this place is really run down, dirty, food was gross, old and falling apart. I actually cried when we arrived. Do not believe the pictures on their website, this place looks nothing like that. No ac in any place except your room, not in lobby, hallways, restaurants, it’s hot, stuffy, and smells dirty. I’m not trying to sound like an unhappy customer, I’m being very honest. You will be horrified by the condition of this place. The beach lounge chair cushions are all stained and dirty, the pools had mold (and were too small for the massive amount of people in them) everywhere you look it’s just dirty and covered in fingerprints. It looked like someone threw up on our toilet seat top when we arrived in our delapitated room. We wore flip flops in the shower, there were dead bugs and piles of dirt in the cabinet where the mini fridge was, there was NO HOT water to shower, restaurants were closed that the app says we’re open, the food was so bad (panini was 2 slices of white bread with chicken nugget in between and not even toasted), the buffet experience is scary- room is filthy and hot (no ac) and for anything “fresh” you have to wait in line for the one cook to make it. There is absolutely nothing upscale or luxurious about this place. It does NOT look like the pictures on the website. Pictures don’t lie, please look at mine. I don’t usually post reviews but was so upset about this place and then the dismissive response from management just put me over the edge. There are too many other hotels in Cancun to choose from, please do your homework before booking this place.

Just an OK place to stay.
This hotel was disappointing for us. It is very out of date and we didn’t check the reviews well enough before we booked. The beach wasn’t good and that was disappointing. We upgraded our reservation to include a private cool pool on our balcony. I think it was built in the 70’s or 80’s. It was not appealing. Although the hotel was clean it just felt really old and not luxurious at all. The restaurants did have really good food especially the steak house. We also enjoyed the Japanese and Greek restaurant. Service was excellent for the most part.
